    AICP or A.I.C.P.

We hired a very green marketing director and shes made a number of silly changes. For instance, she insists that our AICP designation be spelled out with periods, something Ive never seen. To me it looks complicated, but is there anything official on the subject? Thanks!

Given that the APA web page for AICP does not show any periods https://www.planning.org/aicp/why/

Most sources say not to use periods:

Don't read the comments section. You want to, but don't do it.

No periods in the acronym as I look at my official document from AICP stating that I am AICP.

I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Your marketing director is a goof.
    He's a planner, he's a dreamer, he's a sordid little schemer,
Seems to think that money grows on trees . . .
