I hiked Katahdin a few years ago with my family and it was amazing. We hiked across the Knike's Edge, which was by far the best part of the hike. Here are a few pictures I found.

On our honeymoon my husband and I visited the Citadel in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I loved it there, they fire a cannon at noon everyday. There were a group of guys walking around in kilts playing the bagpipes, it was an awesome experience.

I lived in the Fan District for the year I was in Richmond and loved being in such a distintive and vibrent neighborhood. Monument Avenue has to be one of the greatest residential streets in the South, espessialy during the Easter Parade.

Other locations that I consider great places are; Charleston's Battery and the view of Pittsburgh as you enter the city through the Fort Pitt Tunnel...What other place has an entrance like that?

    Some of my favorite places...

    • Pike Place Market, Seattle
    • Portland, Maine
    • Acadia National Park, Maine
    • Ullapool, Scotland

I want to second the post by oulevin for Oxford, Mississippi. There is no place I would rather be on a spring day than the “Grove” reading a book or up on the square sipping coffee.

I don’t think Oxford could be imagined any better.
