    I think the movie is loosly based on the Pam Smart case.

    There was one of these in Green Bay, WI last year. Husband and wife. He was choking her and didnt realize she died.

    Some years ago, I read a story about a man who dressed up as Batman jumped off the vanity table, missed the bed where his wife was waiting, bumped his head and was knocked out cold for a few hours.
