    I only got 9 out of 16.

I guess that makes me officially "out of it" with the art scene.

I got 6, but then again, I don't give a crap about art.

8/16, I was being to subjective when chosing the button to press.

    Eye of the beholder, etc.
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

The ends can justify the means.

That was fun! I did better here than I did on the Ultimate 80s quiz: 10/16 ("Not bad, not bad. Not that good. But not bad.")

I got 13/16. I had seen a couple of those pieces before. The rest were just lucky guesses.

Some art can be boring to look at, but alot of fun to make! Even if it is crap. I took a pottery class in college and it was better than ____, as far as relaxation and creative stimulation. Later I started making things out of wood. Its all crap, dont get me wrong, but art is you friend

I have stoped since I moved here, maybe I need to do it again.

    13. Though I may have called some of it art, little of it would ever end up in my house.

It is all moot, because art is dead. Art died with the coming of the postmodernists, who turned art into something that it was not intended to be; a concept, or a means for financial gain, rather than the result of human creativity for its sake alone.

Now, if you will excuse me, I must dress up in black and wail in angst.

    Dan:

I think art died in the 19th century when it became separated from life (and frankly-to a large extent-from religion). The whole mythos of the tortured bohemian soul whose main purpose in life is to "shock the bourgeoisie" with his or her anguish-laden crap. Early modern art at least was interesting-today's stuff is running on fumes.
