As inspired by Big Easy King, what issues aren't hitting your radar screen these days (or your community / employer)
For us, there's no cares over:
Transit Oriented Development (but we do have an agresssive bike path plan)
Affordable / Balanced housing stock
We have no S.O.B.s
none what so ever

Remember this motto to live by: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO- HOO what a ride!'"
You can't have transit oriented development without transit. Likewise, cluster development is not an issue when we are trying to develop density, not preserve farmland. It should get more consideration in the surrounding rural areas, though. Right now, the commercial market is really slow, so the usual related issues have not surfaced.
Individual Property Rights
Unfortunately, most of my interests are non issues in our community. Want to tear down a block of houses from 1820 to put up a car wash, thats progress. Want to dig a gravel pit without a permit next to a residential area, go to it.
Hell, we just got buidling permits throughout the entire province last year. Before that they only cost $5 and were required only within 500 feet of some designated roads. The thorough regulation of development is a long ways away here.
Too lazy to beat myself up for being to lazy to beat myself up for being too lazy to... well you get the point....
Non-issue here include:
- new urbanism
- S.O.B.'s
- McMansions
- public transit planning
- zoning: Really. Over 70% of our muncipalities don't have it.

Non-issues here (The Big Easy), which should very well be issues, include:
- displacement
- takings
