I noticed that a lot of Cyburbianites move around for jobs and such and thereby may not necessarily be a native of the city where they are currently located. Just out of curiousity, who's truly home and who isn't?

Moved from South Carolina to Pittsburgh for a job and, well... a girl. I miss the South and my family and friends a good bit sometimes but have started to really enjoy living my newly adopted city. Besides, a good bourbon, a phone call or air fare are all effective homesickness treatments.
Still live, but don't work in, the city where I was born. I work 25 miles from home.

This Hoosier City is terribly xenophobic. If you aren't born-and-raised, you can have a green card, but you will never be native.
I asnwer politely that I am not a Hoosier, but I am the father of two of 'em. This seems to bug a surprising number of people.

I guess if you're within 25-50 miles of your birthtown (or within its metro area) then that can qualify you as a native.

I'm about as non-native as they come. California native freezing my ass of in Edmonton. It snowed (flurries) this morning. Ugh.
I live and work about 20 minutes east of the town I was born in, and 30 min. north of the ancestral home. I did move away for years, but came back 8 years ago.
I was born and raised in Alpena, MI (northerneastern lower peninsula).
I moved to Chicago because of the jobs, great access to Great Lakes states, and the great urbanity of Chicago. Will stay here.
Michigan is woefully lacking any extensive walkable urbanity.

Funny thing is, my geneaology indicates that the family was in Indiana in the 1820s, but had the good sense to move to Minnesota (Le Seur, Martini ) by the 1860s.
