Instead of a straw, what they were candycanes?

(REUTERS) Madison, Wisconsin - The people at the WesternGenomics Fertility Boutique in the Madison Mall today swore in a deposition submitted to the clerk of the 11th District Court that, “there is absolutely no way, anyone educated in human genetics or the science of fertility, even WGFB Chief Technician Bernie Sandersen could have even remotely foreseen or anticipated the long-term teratogenic effects of the laboratory accident which occurred on December 18, 1993 at our labs.”

Sanderson is accused of accidentally dropping a small bit of his candy cane, during a Christmas office party into a sterilized container while the genetic material of Helen Jorgenson and Sharon laBlatte, of Pipersville was undergoing a pre-in-vitro fertilization procedure.

The laBlatte-Jorgenson children live with their mothers in Pipersville, and are undergoing depepermintization therapy at the Mayo Clinic this week. Sanderson, who left the employment of WesternGenomics soon after the birth of the laBlatte-Jorgenson children is now the Assistant Manager at Bed Bath and Beyond in the same mall.

The photo shows the laBlatte-Jorgenson children with their cousin Amanda, who recently was diagnosed with Early Onset Diabetes.

The Town Next Door School district introduces it's new apprentice program with the state DOT. Children will be able to visit roadside construction projects during school hours. However, due to insurance regualtions, students are required to remain at a safe distance, dressed as traffic diversion devices to direct traffic away from them.
