Suburban Buffalo's first "tract mansion" subdivison, development in Pomeroy Park, located in the Eggertsville hamlet in the Town of Amherst, began in the early 1920s. Pomeroy Park is adjacent to the City of Buffalo boundary, northeast of Grover Cleveland Golf Course.
