This annoying message will appear on every screen until you register an account or log in. Membership is completely free, and we promise not to send you any spam.

The Cyburbia Forums is the oldest and most active English language urban planning message board on the Internet, and one of the small number of online communities where members enjoy intelligent, troll-free discussion. Cyburbia has hundreds of active members, yet is a strong community full of creative, friendly, and occasionally offbeat planners, planning students, architects, urbanists and other like-minded people who care about and/or help shape the built environment. Cyburbia Forums members enjoy a sense of community and camaraderie that is unmatched by any planning-related web site or listserv. We'd love to have you join us as another Cyburbian.

Collective nouns: A ________ of planners
By Tom R at 2008/04/23 - 4:00pm

Did you know that a group of frogs is called an army or a colony? Me neither. Here is a link that give more names for groupings of critters than should be allowed. Anyway, what is a group of planners? An obfuscation? A stonewall? Others?

by TexanOkie on Tue, 2008/04/22 - 6:23pm
For the sole purpose of reinforcing several misguided stereotypes, we should call a group of us a "commune".

by ofos on Tue, 2008/04/22 - 6:30pm
A Plethora of Planners. Always did like alliteration.

by Captain Worley on Tue, 2008/04/22 - 6:43pm
I like alliteration, too.

A pulchritude of planners.

A passion of planners.

A platter of planners.

A pastiche of planners.

by Gedunker on Tue, 2008/04/22 - 7:16pm
Around here it would definitely be a plague of planners.

My suggestion: A red pen of planners.

Oh, wait! That might demean some people. Never mind.
