It combines social bookmarking, blogging, and syndication with a form of non-hierarchical, democratic editorial control.

Ask Witold Rybczynski

Witold Rybczynski has written about architecture for The New York Times, Time, The Atlantic, The New Yorker, and Slate, and is the author of the critically acclaimed book Home and the award-winning A Clearing in the Distance. He is the recipient of the National Building Museum's 2007 Vincent Scully Prize. He lives with his wife in Philadelphia, where he teaches at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design.

In April, Witold Rybczynski's newest book was published - Last Harvest: How a Cornfield Became New Daleville: Real Estate Development in America from George Washington to the Builders of the Twenty-first Century, and Why We Live in Houses Anyway.

There are other urbanism feed aggregators, such as Cyburbia's own Buzz and Planetizen Radar, but Floating Podium presents the feeds in a manner similar to the acclaimed Popurls site. Floating Podium is a wide page, and may not be easily usable on lower resolution monitors.
