Schools: Europe 🇪🇺 Advice for getting a degree in Urbanism in Europe?

Hi!

My name is Tiffany. I currently work in marketing currently but study cities and urban issues for fun (truly) and make content for Cities Decoded on Instagram (@citiesdecoded). I love cities and have traveled all over America as well as to 14 countries internationally. I have a background in journalism and as a next step towards a more urbanism-centric career, I'm thinking that getting a graduate degree would be a good next step.

I recently moved out of NYC and don't really want to go back right now, nor do I want to live in an American suburb. I really want to be back abroad, meeting people of all backgrounds and cultures living in a moderate-sized, walkable city. However, I am not sure how to identify quality urbanism programs that are based in Europe but that would equip me to understand urbanism from a variety of geographical contexts, not just an European one. What would be ideal is to find a program that would allow me the flexibility to do some independent comparative studies, comparing American and European urbanism, but I'm not sure how to find something like that.

So far, I am considering the following:

https://www.uu.nl/masters/en/human-geography

If anyone has any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks,
Tiffany
