Current school dilemma

I just graduated with a BS in planning and GIS from Northern Michigan University and I applied and was accepted at four grad programs. I really wanted to go to UIUC but the tuition is way to much for me to handle so I'm toying with the notion of going to MSU instead. Is there anyone out there with experience at either university in planning? I want to also study GIS/Remote Sensing and do international work so if anyone has information regarding any aspect of the planning programs at either school, please fill me in. Thanks.
