I am trying to locate any information related to down zoning in an effort to protect and reduce the development impacts in environmentally sensitive areas, specifically watersheds. If any one knows of specific examples, lawsuits, or related information it would be appreciated.
Please forward what you find. We are in the midst of a Comprehensive Planning process in Guilderland, NY with a reservoir that supplies 85% of the Town water but more than 50% of the Town is part of the watershed and currently quite rural, but under development pressure.
