Have to agree with all of the "Tool" references. I liked one of my Porcupine Tree albums but didn't find the other, most recent one very interesting.

Other favorites I've now thought of:

Killing Joke-kickass new album, if you can get past the soemwhat juvenile politics.

Evoken-Quintessence is awesome.

Thergothon-the slowest, gurgliest doom metal ever produced

Nothing wrong with resurrecting oldies from the archives. The newbies can give them a new life.

And plus it beats having to listen to The King's Queen go...."We've been there before...;) "
