skis, I'd be talking with a disability-rights attorney if you want to keep your sons together at their school. Somebody knowledgeable about Federal disability law. I am pretty sure you've already made yourself aware of the laws - as an advocate for your son - but go ahead and make the call. This just doesn't sound right to me (as the father of two kids on the spectrum).
I did... and the way the law is structured in NC with their county school system setup, the parents don't get the final say. I could hold up the transfer but in the end, unless they violated procedure, I would likely end up losing and having to pay their attorney fees. So I am shifting gears and accepting that he might need to go to a different school for this coming school year, but I am petitioning the school board and the state superintendent of schools to have the program that he is being transferred to, to be implemented at his base school as well. I am going to use this thing called logic that the school system does not seem to use. [/ot]
1) The owner of an auto parts store that started the process of moving in told me that they will leave if he can't paint the entire building their corporate colors, and how dare we regulate something like that. He pointed out that no one would tell McDonald's that they could not go with their brand. I then showed him
this and he stopped arguing with me.
2) Between the RIP currents and the shark attacks, I am starting to wonder how peaceful and relaxing a trip to the beach would really be.
3) Does anyone have any suggestions for Apple Watch apps that I should get. I upgraded sold-out and bought one this weekend.
4) After work I am going to stop off at a gym across the street from my office to inquire about joining. I need to get back into shape.
5) Bought tickets for Hershey Park. Now we just need to lock down which weekend we are going.
