Corn dogs? So nekulturny, tovarisch! Guess I've never been a big fan of corn dogs, which is maybe odd considering I like hot dogs, I like fried things, and I like corn bread. So it seems like they'd be a shoe in for a great dish, but there's something about the combination of textures and flavors I find unappealing. Hard to nail it down exactly.

DRUNK AS F*** or some other sort of inebriated. In a 7/11 at 2:20 AM. "Gimmie a big bite and a pack of Marlboro 27s!" along with a mondo slurpee.

I am so glad those days are behind. I only touch dogs at special events now, like Ballgames or BBQs. They are the literal cancer give. Yummy processed chemically meat.

I love hot dogs.
I know they are not healthy, but I still love them.
I love gourmet hot dogs and I love the cheap 50¢ hot dogs from Ikea. I love going to Home Depot and getting two hot dogs or a sausage for lunch.
I love them with all the fixins (except Chicago style... that's just dumb) and with nothing on them.
I love them boiled and fried and grilled.
Putting ketchup on a hot dog is a crime.
I love hot dogs.

This past Friday I took the day off of work and we went to the Henry Ford Museum and when we were driving there my daughter asked if we could see the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile while we were there and eat hot dogs. Of course I said yes.

Dittos.

Also, a cheap hot dog on a make-shift 'bun' (sandwich bread slice) with mayo and tabasco is good.

Never liked hot dogs, not even as a kid. Not sure why, as I am sure I ate other, equally gross stuff.

Now give me a good sausage any day. Something with seasoning.

I'm like you WSU, I like me some hot dogs. My favorite toppings for such are BBQ sauce, a little mustard, grilled onions & cheese. Ketchup/Catsup does not make the cut at all, in fact I don't put that _____ even on fries.

A friend of mine loves them too. In fact whenever he grills - whether its steaks, chicken, ribs, whatever - he puts a few on the grill as appetizers for the guys hanging out around the grill.

The Girl loved hot dogs when she was little. In fact it's one of the foods she'd eat. two or 3 years ago she went on a service trip with the church youth group. They stopped at a gourmet hot dog place on the last day. Three of the kids, including The Girl, got food poisoning from something & she has refused to eat a hot dog since.

I like hot dogs too. My favorite way is to split them almost the whole way through lengthwise and then sear them on a skillet. Mustard for sure and occasionally sauerkraut.

I only like the Hebrew National all beef type hot dog. I like either sauerkraut and brown mustard or ketchup, yellow mustard, and relish.I eat maybe two hot dogs a year.

I like mine that way at home if I don't want to grill them. Chili, slaw, onion, and cheap yellow mustard is my go to way to top my hotdog but occasionally, I will go with pimento cheese and bacon. My kids likes them no bun and ketchup on the side. This place that I go to on a occasion serves a bright red hotdog which I will eat but I don't think that's what a hotdog should look like. It's not this brand but they look like this....

occasionally. Love old fashioned steamed dogs the best...otherwise grilled or broiled.

Not to rain on your parade, but no more hot dogs. They are disgusting and as a process meat, they are carcinogenic according to the WHO.

Chicago-style: Vienna beef on a poppyseed bun, with mustard, sweet pickle relish, diced onion, tomato wedges, a dill pickle spear, celery salt, and some sport peppers (which I usually pick off).

Also love a good brat with mustard, relish, diced onion, and tomato wedges...so good!

Ah, I miss my Chicago food!

I also recall going to visit a friend at Iowa State a few times and getting this thing called a Superdog from a street vendor. Probably the best drunk food I’ve ever had: beef hot dog on a hoagie with five sauces (pineapple, garlic silantro, special sauce, ketchup, and mustard), with a layer of potato chips, a slice of bacon, and two slices of Monterrey Jack cheese.
