Which of the characters on The Simpsons do you most closely identify with (which one would you be)?

I am embarrassed to admit that I would probably be a "Smithers." I am not the most dominant personality and don't have much interest in being a boss (i.e., Planning Director). Being a good "assistant" or sidekick is pretty accurate.

I'll admit it.... I am probably a cross between Principal Skinner and Professor Frink.

As if I am not strange enough I picked Lisa Simpson due to her nerdish qualities.

See... I thought about Lisa (the nerdish qualities), but then chose Side Show Bob because he is intelligent, yet doesn't always play by the rules. I'm not evil or anything... but Lisa was a little too straight-laced for me.

Here's a quiz to find out which Simpsons character you are like. Apparently I'm most like Maude Flanders!

Yeah um don't know about that quiz..... I only tried it out the once before posting the link.

It's giving a lot of characters I never heard of, and a bizarre commentary with them! Not that funny.

It suggested I am most like a one-show new-age super-villian who gave Homer the Denver Broncos as a thank you gift.

I would say I connect most with ralph wiggins.

The glue eating, nose picking, misinterpreting signals, ADD suffering, confused fool.

Here is aquiz that includes some of the more common Simpsons characters.

I would have said Barney, but Ralph seems a little less pathetic.

Barney Gumble? Now they're telling me I'm Barney Gumble?!

I'm into being shady.

I know who I am - One armed Army Surplus Guy! Didn't he lose his arm by sticking it out of the bus window when he was a kid dispite a warning from the bus driver?

I have some APU tendencies and the Mrs. is Manjula.

Mother Simpson according to the quiz. Yep, I'm feeling the need to go protest something...

Bleeding Gums Murphy, aka the Jazzman, has always been my favorite minor Simpsons character.

Too easy...

Groundskeeper Willie

On the surface, Groundskeeper Willie is a surly, gruff, hot-tempered sort of a fella, and what you see is what you get. As far as this shaggy-haired, thickly-accented Scotsman is concerned, manners are for bath-taking, underpants-wearing, lily-huggers. Willie would rather wrestle a wild Alaskan timber wolf than set down to a high tea. At the faintest sign of trouble, Willie rips off his shirt and hurls his rippling muscular body into the fray. Crediting his remarkable build in part to his diet, Willie vigorously promotes the eating of haggis.

While Willie regards Principal Skinner as nothing more than a "silk-wearin' croquet-playin' buttercup," he takes pride in performing the tasks Skinner sets for him. In addition to his regular groundskeeping at Springfield Elementary, these include chasing stray dogs through the air vents, watering down the orange drink for extra profits at school functions, and substitute-teaching French class in his own sensitive way: "Bonjour, you cheese-eatin' surrender-monkeys."

Willie's personal life is as rocky and desolate as his native land. While it is true that his was once engaged to magical British nanny, Shary Bobbins, she dumped him immediately when her eyesight returned. Since then, he has spent the bulk of his private time secretly videotaping couples in their cars.

On the other quiz I was Fallout boy And if my memory doesn't fail I have only seen Fallout boy once, in the episode when Milhouse was a movie star (he was Fallout boy)

I can't believe I left Groundskeeper Willie out of the poll. It was definitely an oversight. Chief Wiggums and Frank Grimes might have been a couple more additions. Oh well.

So many Lisas! Who would have believed that planners would identify with an intelligent, idealistic underdog?

You forgot a Simpson.

In reality, I'm probably a male, meat-eating Lisa.

I said LIsa, too, like so many others. But, I think I'm a lot thicker-skinned.

What about Moe the bartender? He's one of my favorite characters, although he and I share nothing in common except maybe a love of beer.
