You see heavy contrails everywhere in Illinois, including rural areas distant from Chicago. It's probably from ORD traffic.

The skies in the US after 9-11 looked strange. No contrails after air traffic was halted.

Coming from Michigan - land of Timothy McVeigh and associated militia groups I have come across something like this one before. Supposedly the letter/number codes on the back of hiway signs are secret instructions to UN forces concerning invasion routes (you don't believe it, man, just look at all the black helicopters you see flying over interstates - they're scouts I tell you!). Ignorant folks like you and I assume that "MDOT 99" means 'Michigan Department Of Transportation' and that sign was put up in 1999. But what do we know.... ;-)
