If you have ArcView, you can get the ArcView Image Analysis software package, which is made by ESRI and ERDAS.

ArcView?

Maybe it's better to avoid ArcView - associated progs:

first, it's a prog ready to be extinct. Other systems will follow, according to esri.

second, it's useless. It's a GIS system, and the Image Processing tools are more or less an idea that came second. Even with additional tools from all over the web it's not thought to be an image processing thing.

I recommend ER Mapper or ENVI.
IDRISI is good but complicated, ERDAS Imagine is convenient but has several bugs.

:wow:)

Then Kansas State University is the place and Dr. Douglas Goodin is the man - the mentor - the boundary layer climatologist you need to speak to. Located in the scenic flint hills of Kansas, KSU offers many amenities found at larger universities as well as the warm feelings and charm of a smaller Midwest university town.

KSU is the home of more Marshall and Truman scholars than any other university and its winning Big 12 football program is sure to fire your sprit of competition.

Give KSU a look and tell 'em Su's husband sent ya! KSU
