Hi
My name is Tracy Mullins a grad student at Eastern Michigan University majoring in Planning and GIS and a Lecturer at University of Michigan Dearborn for Urban Studies. I'm a Canadian who has worked in the U.S,A, for about 3 years, planning telecommunications, Parks and Rec, and Historic Preservation projects. Can't decide to teach or be a practical planner, hopefully I can do both. That is if I ever finish my (@#$(*&^) theses on decision support systems in Urban Planning on time Cheers

Hey Tracy ... there's a lot of Canadians practicing planning in the States. Is the job situation there really as bad as I've heard?

How'd you find the Cyburbia Forums?

Welcome Tracy, we need more GIS folk here... I hadn't realized that it was being offered as a major anywhere. You might be interested in our "Is GPS surveying?" discussion on Friday Afternoon Club. Good luck with your thesis... I accomplished an 80% winning streak on freecell while working on my thesis.
