Just curious. While in school I became enamored with Constantinos Doxiadis and his system of Ekistics (the science of human settlements). He had a proposal for Islamabad, then a new city, precisely planned out in sectors. With our current focus on the middle east, I started wondering if his plans ever came to fruition. Anybody know? Anybody remember Ekistics?
