According to the New Zealand Population Clock at http://www.stats.govt.nz/domino/external/web/prod_serv.nsf/htmldocs/Pop+Clock , the estimated resident population of New Zealand as at 21 April 2003 at 8:48 AM (20 April at 3:48 PM, Central Daylight Savings Time) is 3,999,287.
