I'm going to be the acting City Administrator for a month, starting Monday. Anyone have some good ideas for fun and games while I'm king?

(Oh, and I can't fire anyone... I already asked.)

You won't be king really. More like chief peon. ;)

Use the opportunity to learn everything you can about the position. Hell, you may just want to go that route whole hawg some day.

Tell your Information Tech folks that the new home page for all of your jurisdictions's computers will be Cyburbia

20 minute nap time, that is not enough. 2 hour siesta's in the afternoon.

Get rid of the pesky IT blocks on computers.

Beer in the pop machines.

Have a bronze statue made of the city's new great leader.

Yes, your city needs some massive, Communit monument in a vast concrete plaza.

What to do?

Free employer supplied yummy, yummy cupcakes for all the good boys and girls.

Also, try and be as patronizing as possible to all underlings, and all residents;)
