Does anyone do any special permitting for the new-fangled order online and pick up areas?

Do you displace parking with it (I would think so?)

Is it treated like a drive thru (even though it's not really)

Is it a conditional use or whatever you want or a revision to a site plan?

We displaced parking with it and defined it differently from a drive-through as those are not allowed.

/waves hand/ "all uses are conditional...."

In other words it had to go through site plan approval and any conditions necessary to ensure compliance with the rest of zoning were applied.

My municipality is a little weird like that, but what we call "conditions:" are almost always procedural stuff or minor edits to be made before a final plan is approved. I advise my board strongly against creating operational conditions that we are ill-equipped to enforce.
