Anyone know of a good set of gravel pit or quarry reclamation standards? They can't be to restrictive, but should give good guidance and standards to how a pit is to be reclaimed once the extractive use is finished.

We currently don't have any and have people thinking the appropriate way to a pit is to dump demolished buildings into them and cover with sand.

This works for us

We have this.

To date its worked in getting acceptable reclamation plans in place, but we have not had to implement one yet either....

Your standards and process seems easy, as it refers to established State standards.

We don't have other standards (provincial) to refer to.

Reclamation in the unincorporated area (provincial controlled) is even worse then in the City.

Yeah, its one of the few perks that come with working / living in a heavily taxed and over-regulated environment.
