I am looking for information on problems associated with RV Parks, and their regulation. Are transient populations an issue, can this be managed through design, regulated by zoning, etc? How are they zoned? I would appreciate any information from colleagues on this subject.
I live on a national park, with some private land in upstate N.Y. A local developer is seeking a zoning change from R-1 and RR to Planned Recreational Development. We are fighting this. Any information anyone has on this topic would be much appreciated.

Thanks

perhaps you could require upgraded services thus the park would have to charge that little bit more, say $2-$5 bucks a night more adds up Quick ,this would discourage semi-permanent residences
