I like this way more than a monorail. old school street car is way more affordable and is more integrated with all that exists in the city already. more stops

The Regional Transit Authority in New Orleans is spending millions of dollars to reinstall streetcar lines thoughout the city.....the same lines that were replaced with busses back in the early 1960's. Streetcars are much cleaner than busses and are actually fun to ride in.

Toronto is one of the lucky cities that never got rid of its streetcars. We're working on ways to get them moving faster though - they're not so great when they're stuck in traffic...

street cars seem so people oriented to me. I think I was brainwashed by that PBS show about ford taking over all the street cars and ....... then they're gone.
