I am looking for examples of web sites developed either by the city government or private citizens that tracks the progress of new or re-development projects in their community.

In other words, are there web sites where communities can go to get in-depth information about projects that are being proposed, planned and under progress in their own area? They may even have a forum where residents can chime in their feedback.

City governments may provide this resource on their site, but so far they seem to fall short on details and not very timely.

Been thinking about addressing this for my community and want to see how others have done it.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
