Does anyone have experience with zoning restrictions/ordinances on the siting of explosive magazines? Any help, guidance, ordinances you can provide would be helpful. Also, if anyone has knowledge of a study or report that looks at security issues and the impacts of such uses on property values, is the heart of what I need. Thanks!

Best of luck

These regulations cover the safe storage and handling.

You may also want to address transportation issues in your regulations.

As far as good people to talk to on the issue, I would suggest the ATF's Arson and Explosives National Repository

Call a local field office and tell them what you need. In my experience they are very professional and helpful.

The FBI also has some overlaping interest in this area, but the ATF has always had the lead.

I recall from my Army days that there is a manual on the topic. I'm not sure if you can find it online, but your state National Guard can probably find a copy.
