My first post...
In order to help address its parking problems, the local hospital (located in an older urban neighborhood) is giving serious consideration to constructing some sort of parking structure(deck or garage). Inasmuch as our zoning regulations allow only surface parking in residential zones, the hospital will likely seek an amendment to the regulations to allow structured parking as well (by Special Permit).
Does anyone have a good set of zoning standards that regulate such facilities in (or adjacent to) residential areas, esp. in terms of bulk, height, setback, design, appearance, etc?
Thanks in advance.
