BARTLETT -- A Bartlett couple were charged with felony forgery after their daughter was caught Sunday trying to use fake tickets for rides at a carnival, authorities said.

Carole Alexander and Timothy Alexander, both 41, of the 900 block of Longstreet Drive, were taken to the DuPage County Jail, Bartlett police said. They allegedly passed out hundreds of forged tickets to at least 20 children.

Their daughter was caught with fake tickets around 5 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Stearns Road, where the Astro Amusement Co. was putting on a five-day carnival, police said.
