A beautiful Saturday afternoon and I'm on the computer making a wedding invite spreadsheet *fun*. Oh, and I'm listening to
Saves the Day - in reverie.

Sorry Biscuit - it's definitely the compilation, 20,000 Watts RSL. The two best tracks on BSM are also on 20,000 Watts (Forgotten Years & King of the Mountain) anyway.

There is a new 20,000 Watts DVD that is even better again as it has extra favourites of mine like Cold Cold Change and Stand in Line.

I think Head Injuries (their third album) remains their best. Additional favourites on it include Section 5, Koala Sprint and No Reaction. I was a big fan during the 80's and saw them many times. I can remember vividly how a mate and I had an agonising wait to get our copies of 10 to 1 (my friend was pre-registered number 1 to get it) - recording and production were delayed many times. The band was notorious for this. The cover art for that and Bird Noises are favourites of mine.

Rob Hirst has written a book about the US/Canadian tours (Willie's Bar and Grill) - if you saw them, there may be an insight into those performances for you. I haven't read it.

I stand corrected. I will accept it from the Aussies mouth (keyboard?) that 20,000 Watts RSL is the better album.

Oh, and a Biscuit's not a cookie ya hoser. :)

I am now listening to a New Music Express sampler with Oasis, The Hives, Doves, Coldplay, and a bunch of other arrogant british rock.

This Morning

I'm in a Bread mood this morning.

"Anyway you want me" is playing at the moment.

I like "Aubrey" since one of my twin daughters name is Aubrey. She gets up with dad at 5:15 a.m. to color and have breakfast before I leave.

Its not terrible and they are much better than a lot of punk bands out there, so I would say that it is disappointing when compared to their other cds, but good compared to a lot of other bands.
