I had a nice discussion a couple weeks ago with a couple of 20 somethings on the use of 3 dots at the end of a text. I often take this as funny or cynical sarcasm, and, in the case of my husband, it usually means he's irritated lol and the 20 something said they agreed - but their parents (who oddly are not much older than I am) just use them all the time to end a text to note it's ending or to be continued maybe

what does the 3 dot at the end of a text mean to you
