This story has been in the local headlines all week. Some pretty scary stuff. I was only 15 years old when the murder took place and never heard anything about it.

It's upsetting that the only new coverage some communities get is coverage of bad news.

Absolutely right.....Toledo....and most other places usually only make the national news when something bad happens. A few months ago a major expressway bridge, under construction near downtown Toledo, had a crane collapse, killing four (4) people. Made the news.

Toledo did make the news about a half year or so ago....a would-be burgler (expert....not!) tried coming into a small diner through a chimney vent. He got stuck. Made the news.

And it's amazing how much bad/stupid news happens in Florida. And how often it's posted on Cyburbia... ;-)
