Well here it is the final 20 designs for the California quarter, I haven't decided what I'll vote for. I like #3 and #11.

How many of them have the Golden Gate Bridge on them?!

Sheesh... If you're going to go with San Fran, how about some weird leather dungeon scene?

#2 is the coolest...IMHO.

It's also leading the race too....

11

11 is the only one that doesn't appear "generic" to me. Definitely 11.

I'll agree that many of the designs are generic. I especially do not like the ones with the Golden Gate Bridge on them. Face it, there is at best a 50/50 chance that thing will still be standing in another twenty years. I don't see where you can call a design of John Muir or a bear standing in front of El Capitan generic, though. I'm not dissin' your choice - it was tied for my second-favorite design, but bears are way to cool to take a pass on, dude.

El Guapo the Peoples Republic of The Lost Coast could use you, do you like redwood trees? The excitement of military helicopters flying low over your house and your crops, but never actually doing anything?

Or a nice cameo of FD Midori

Ooo! A sticky song! I can't resist.

If you're going to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you're going to San Francisco
You're gonna meet some gentle people there

For those who come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
In the streets of San Francisco
Gentle people with flowers in their hair

All across the nation such a strange vibration
People in motion
There's a whole generation with a new explanation
People in motion people in motion

For those who come to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there

If you come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there

Those with any reference to Hollywood were immediately ruled out. I settled on either #4 or #20.
