I am doing a website for a non-planning organization (this is your chance to ignore me!) and I would like to have a hit counter and perhaps something which will give me an idea of who is visiting.

It has to be free and easy to use/install. In addition, our server is on a unix-system (I think) and doesn't like FrontPage's webbots (?) but I have done the whole page with Front Page with no problems (so far).

Does anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks for your help.

We've used the free counters from Honesty.com

There are several styles and once you pick one, it generates the code for you - just cut and paste in Frontpage.
