A couple of months back a few cyburbanites requested more pics of Wellington. So now that I have figured out how to resize the pics from my camera, here are a few:

This is a small local beach, just a short drive from the city

Extremely unfair of you to post those beautiful beach pics when we are shivering in the deep freeze up here!!!

Looks fantastic! And a nuke free zone to boot!
Some moron politician is trying to gain popularity at the moment by saying we should drop our nuke-free stance. I don't sense a lot of support for him!

That shot is of a glorified traffic island officially called Te Aro Park but locally known as pigeon park. It's where 'vagrants' hang out and lots of fights and stuff happen there on the weekends. It's also a popular spot to rest for shoppers on sunny days. The photo is taken from my ex's apartment window and he has had hours of entertainment watching many forms of human activity taking place there!

Was that a Mini in the first picture? :)

Seriously, looks like Wellington has preserved a lot of public access along the waterfront. A nice place to go for a walk. The architecture almost looks canadian????

Very nice. Any good planning or economic development jobs down there? Post them in the kiosk.

I'd recommend checking out www.nzjobs.co.nz. I did a search and found 21 planning positions advertised today.
