Has anybody been on the Northern New England Employment Website? I repeatedly see a regional planning commision there in constant need for a new planner or staff? Anybody know this place? High turnover? Not enough pay? What gives? Having not travelled there or met any from there, I was curious why this place seems to be in need of new staff all the time.

I'm the NNECAPA webmaster, and yes, there has been a lot of turnover at SW Regional Planning Commission. I don't know why, but have been sent several job ads from their exec. director over the past 12 months.

Sounds like quite the questionable place to work...I recently sent off a resume packet to Williston VT. its a 30/hr week postion. Good for me 'cause I'll be wanting to sepnd time with my wife and new baby through the first few years of life. I'm hoping for the best. I'll be calling them next week to confrim receipt of the packet as well. I hope Keene doens't wear off on them!

Williston would be an interesting place to work. Mike Munson is a great guy (from what I know from meeting him at conferences).

I call 'em "resume sinks" -- planning employers that advertise all the time, but never seem to do any interviews, much less hire. Sounds like the Maryland National Capital Parks and Planning Commission.
