Is it as quiet in your offices today (10/5) as it is mine??

I'm alone in the office today...no secretaries, no department director...and had prepared for the day by getting all my important stuff out of the way earlier in the week...but nothing is happening today. 2 phone calls...4 people stopped in the office...

I know it's a holiday weekend...but this is rediculous!

Of course...I'll probably be inundated on Tuesday. :)

What holiday? I have to work on Monday, along with my colleagues in most every other city around here.

Didn't word that Columbus Day is politically incorrect reach your nexk of the woods?

Quiet, too quiet

I think you are right on target. We are usually a very busy department with 15 to 17 new applications every two weeks. We've only gotten about 15 in the past month. And a lot fewer phone calls.
I think everyone's just still in a mood from recent events.
