Just curious who takes care of your zoning layer on GIS when there is a zoning change.

With a poll, just to make it fun as everyone in this thread is likely the GIS person

I voted as the GIS person even though I'm not the GIS person. We have a team that does that kind of stuff. I just have to tell them when they get stuff wrong.

We have a GIS/research department that maintains a huge database for all departments to access. All programs pay into their support.

For daily use, small items, etc. I get an intern to do it. Right now, we have 2 that can do the work. One, though, can do it way faster than the other.

We have a designated GIS staff person for our department. But some planners will do it if they have a need and like to do GIS, and we'll use interns during the summer.
