Hey geographers! I have an old globe (of Earth). I thought it was from the 1950's, but it is earlier. It shows Trans-Jordan, yet Isreal rather than Palestine. Germany is one country, but not east to Danzig. What else should I look for to date this thing?

Dominion of Canada

Many African countries and colonies with different names than what is there now. Rhodesia, Bechuanaland, Belgian Congo, Togoland, Tanganyika and so on.

No Namibia.

No man's lands in the Middle East, which have mostly been resolved.

Algeria as part of Metropolitan France.

Alaska Territory.

No Pakistan.

One Korea.

Vietnam as Indochina.

Sri Lanka as Ceylon.

Australia as "Her Majesty's Penal Colony for Convicts and the Criminally Insane"
