The Detroit Tigers

But I fear the Red Sox will win it again before that happens.

Oh, you mean this year? I don't care.

Tim - you beat me to it, I just got back from worldseries.com to find out who is in the running.

And as a New Yorker, I had to vote Yankees, even though I probably won't watch more than 2 minutes if they're in. So maybe i should have voted "Don't Give a Flying Flan"

what was that game that was invented where it was basically basketball with no fouls and trampolines in the floor. what a train wreck that was.

That would have been SLAMBall....watched it once...interesting, but no real appeal to the average sports fan. :)

The one good thing about these playoffs...

In my best John Sterling voice:

"THE YANKEES LOSE...THHHHHEEEEEEE YANKEES LOSE!"

:) :D :p

Sorry....I'm a Red Sox fan, and am loving the fact that the Yanks won't be in the series this year.

Who says there isn't a God?!? Apparently $$ cannot buy EVERY World Series...just most of 'em.

Good point Glomer. And if you think Selig is hated in the baseball world, you should see how much they are despised locally!
