It was basically the only thing on tv? Trying to give you an out here.Shameful confession: yesterday after work I watched not one but two episodes of that old Hallmark Channel show, "The Good Witch"
Here's my man-card. Just take it.
The plaintiff filed a Notice of Dismissal to withdraw the suit. It didn't stand a chance in court. Our Board Chair, my Code Enforcement Manager, and I were served with a law suit today. Oh, BTW, our contractor demolished the plaintiff's violation today. Do I get a Merit Badge for that?
I've known several kitties that have loved sliding on slippery floors. My cat plays fetch too! He chases and retrieves corks, bottle caps, elastic hair bands, basically anything that skitters and rolls. THe thing is he likes to do his chasing on our epoxy kitchen floor that is slip slidey, so when his preys bounces off onto the carpet or we toss it to another room he chases it and retrieves and returns it to the kitchen for more play. He needs a talent agent!
Ah, yes - Pennsylvania observes the first day of deer season the way a lot of places observe the high religious holidays. Anyone passing anywhere near a forest would be fool-hardy not to wear something “hunter orange” lest you be mistaken for a doe.Someone has been bugging me for days via phone and email for a preconstruction meeting and assured me that he would work with my schedule if I can meet soon. I sent back that I can meet Monday afternoon and got a request for another day and time so he doesn’t have to cancel something. Something is probably deer season.
Adding “except for Monday” to his promise to meet when my schedule allows would have prevented pi$$ing me off more than he has.
Posted in a WTF topic, along with "though" at sentence end, indicates doubt, maybe skepticism. Or maybe the question is mostly rhetorical? The idea behind support groups seems a good one. I wonder how well they function in practice, though?
