Here's one for all you triviaholics.

I thought the "rule of thumb" had different origins though. I read that it came from an old law that you could beat your wife with a switch, but it could be no bigger around than your thumb.

Anything is better with beer though ;)

A beer a day…

Results published in the Journal of Internal Medicine indicate that male coronary artery disease (CAD) patients who consumed moderate amounts of beer had favorable blood biochemical changes that are considered indicators of CAD prevention.




A beer a day certainly doesn't prevent BBD - Beer Belly Disorder. ;)
