Zoning violations

After putting more pressure on our town board and zoning code officer, a letter was sent to a local contractor's yard that is violating several zoning code violations. The contractor has until June 1 to clean up. If he doesn't , which he probably won't do due to past practice, what course of action can the local neighbors take?

More pressure. Then an attorney. You may be surprised to find out that the zoning officer appreciates your efforts.

If your town has a code enforcement board with authority to levy fines, this would be the way forward. Contact your zoning code officer and tell them you wish to pursue this violation.
